Fundraising Volunteer (Tesco Portadown Bucket Collection on Friday 24th October and Saturday 25th October)

We’re looking for passionate, friendly volunteers to join us at Tesco Portadown on Friday October 24th and Saturday October 25th for a bucket collection in support of Mencap. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a feel-good day of fundraising, connect with your local community, and help raise vital funds for people with a learning disability. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or trying it for the first time, your time and energy will make a real difference.
Bucket Collection Shifts:
- 10:00am- 12:00pm
- 12:00pm – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 4:00pm
- 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Whether you can spare a couple of hours or stay for the day, your support will help raise vital funds for people with a learning disability.
As a Mencap volunteer you will be:
- Friendly and Approachable
- Reliable, Kind and Patient
- A good communicator (including listener)
- Willing to volunteer within guidelines and to take direction where necessary
- Accepting of others who might be different to yourself
As a Mencap volunteer you will:
- Make new friends
- Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses in line with our policy e.g. travel
- Full Training and support
- Volunteer alongside our experienced Fundraising team
- A chance to give back your local community
