Team Support Volunteer (Video Editor - Remote)

We're looking for a creative and reliable volunteer to support Mencap’s storytelling by editing engaging video content for our social media channels and digital platforms. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys bringing stories to life and has a good eye for detail and pacing.

**We ask that you include a link to your video editing portfolio or a social media account where you’ve shared your edited videos as part of your application. **

What you’ll be doing:

• Editing short videos from raw footage (e.g. interviews, events, or campaign content)

• Creatingcontent suitable for different platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)

• Workingwith staff to understand the purpose and audience of each video

• Adding captions, music, graphics, and transitions where needed Ensuring videos are accessible and in line with Mencap’s brand and values

What we’re looking for:

• Experience using video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar)

• Creative flair and understanding of social media trends

• Good communication and time management skills Commitment to inclusion and telling stories respectfully and authentically

**When do I need to be available? **This role is home based and flexible based on your availability, with a minimum commitment of 4 hours per week on an agreed day.
